Meanwhile, a citizen who came to fish in the lake stated, "I came today, but there is no water left in the scene I encountered, and I couldn't catch any fish."

Mert Arslanbaş, who has been living in Büyükçekmece for 10 years, stated, "There has been no heavy rainfall. The water should be full from the beginning of this bridge. We have been here for 10 years. Last year was good, the year before was bad, but this year has become even worse. Hopefully, it will rain. There are problems because it is hunting season. Hunters cannot come either. The situation of the fish is also quite bad. This place is sounding the alarm against dryness. The only solution is for it to rain," he said.

Onur Uyar, who expressed that he came to the lake to fish, said, "I came from Beylikdüzü. Normally, I used to come here regularly to fish. For the past 4-5 months, I couldn't make it because it got dark early. I came today, but there is no water left in the scene I encountered, and I couldn't catch any fish. We haven't had regular rainfall for a long time. December will end, but there is still no rain," he stated.
