We will adhere to this process until our term ends." THE DECISION WILL BE LEFT TO TRUMPReminding that they will hand over the duty to the elected president Donald Trump on January 20, Kirby expressed that they will continue to closely monitor this issue and the steps taken by HTS with sensitivity until their term ends, but reiterated that they currently have no statements regarding the removal of HTS from the list. On the other hand, some senior U.S. officials speaking to the Washington Post regarding the matter announced that the decision on whether HTS will be removed from the terrorist list will be left to Trump, who will take office on January 20.
