Images of the last words of the artist Volkan Konak, who passed away from a heart attack during his concert in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, have emerged. Konak said, "They say, 'Volkan, they'll put you in content moderation for your sharp comments.' Come on! Don't you know that revolutionaries are not afraid?"
The famous artist Volkan Konak fainted on stage during a concert he gave in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and the artist was taken to the hospital where he passed away.
In a written statement from the Gazimağusa State Hospital's Chief Physician's Office, it was reported that the 112 emergency medical team quickly arrived at the hotel where Volkan Konak was performing following alerts received around 23:23 yesterday. It was noted that the first medical intervention for Konak was performed by doctors present at the scene and later by the 112 team.
The statement indicated that Volkan Konak was intubated on-site and transferred to the hospital, and included the following remarks: "The artist was admitted to our hospital at 00:17 as 'Ex duhul' and was taken to the CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) room without delay. Here, a team consisting of an anesthesiologist, emergency service physicians, internal medicine, and cardiology specialists provided advanced life support for 25 minutes. However, despite all medical interventions, no response was obtained. The artist Volkan Konak passed away at 00:42, considering the clinical process he underwent, and CPR was terminated."
AUTOPSY WILL BE PERFORMED
It was learned that Konak's body would be taken from the morgue of Gazimağusa State Hospital to the Forensic Medicine Unit at Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in the capital Nicosia around noon, where an autopsy would be conducted.
