Öznur Çağalı, who was allegedly seen in a photo on a yacht with two women alongside Tanju Özcan—who exposed messages stating 'I'm enough for all of you'—has been summoned for testimony. Çağalı firmly denied that the person in the photo was her, stating she had no connection to the allegations and did not know the women in question.
The emergence of footage showing Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan having fun on a yacht in Istanbul Ataköy Marina with two women, one blonde and one brunette, had a bombshell impact on the agenda. It was claimed that the woman in the footage was Öznur Çağalı, who was mentioned in Tanju Özcan's illicit affair and blackmail scandal. Following the footage, it was revealed that the Bolu Police Department had summoned Çağalı for a statement.
SHE WAS WORKING AT THE MUNICIPALITY
In her statement, Öznur Çağalı, who said she was hired as a "call center officer" at a company providing subcontracting services to Bolu Municipality but was assigned to the reception desk at the mayor's office floor, stated that her duty was to welcome guests and direct citizens to the appropriate departments. Çağalı stated that she did not share any work-related information with Tanju Özcan when they met, and she also said she had no information regarding the bribery and extortion investigation. Öznur Çağalı also reported that she had initiated the resignation process a few days ago.
"IT'S NOT ME IN THE PHOTO"
Çağalı, who gave her statement at the Bolu Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch, categorically denied the claims about the blonde woman portrayed as herself on social media. It was learned that in her statement, Öznur Çağalı said she had no information about when the photo was taken or who the women in the photo were, and she did not recognize anyone in the photo except Tanju Özcan. Expressing that she received strong reactions from her family and circle, Çağalı said that upon careful examination of the photo, it could be seen that Tanju Özcan looked younger than his current appearance and that the photo was from a very old date. After Çağalı stated that the person in the photo was not her, the question "Well, then who?" came to mind.
MESSAGES HAD BEEN LEAKED
The messages allegedly sent by Tanju Özcan to Öznur Çağalı, stating "I am enough for all of you. Sadettin Saran is my brother," had been leaked. Additionally, the claim that the woman's ex-boyfriend blackmailed Tanju Özcan, and that Tanju Özcan used recordings in his possession to pressure and blackmail Çağalı, was also on the agenda.
