A delegation from Libya, including Libyan Chief of General Staff General Muhammad Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad, arrived at the area where the jet carrying the delegation crashed to conduct investigations. After staying in the area for about 2 hours, the delegation left. The command staff of the Turkish Armed Forces also came to the region to conduct inspections and gather information. Work continues on the wreckage of the jet.
A delegation from Libya visited the area where the jet carrying Libyan Chief of General Staff General Muhammad Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad and his team crashed to conduct investigations.
LIBYAN DELEGATION CONDUCTED INVESTIGATIONS IN THE AREA
The Falcon 50 jet carrying Libyan Chief of General Staff General Muhammad Ali Ahmed Al-Haddad, who was in Ankara as the official guest of Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, crashed yesterday near the Haymana district of Ankara. All on board, including the Chief of General Staff, lost their lives.
A delegation consisting of relatives of those on the jet and officials from the Libyan government went to the crash site to conduct investigations. The Libyan Ambassador to Ankara, Mustafa al-Kuleyb, accompanied the team from Libya.
The Libyan delegation left after staying at the site for about two hours.
THE TSK COMMAND STAFF ALSO WORKED IN THE AREA
Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu and the Force Commanders conducted investigations in the area where the plane carrying the Libyan military delegation crashed.
In a post made on the General Staff's social media account, the following statements were made:
"Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, along with the Force Commanders, conducted investigations in the area where the plane carrying Libyan Chief of General Staff General Muhammad Ali Al-Haddad, Libyan Land Forces Commander Lieutenant General Futuri Gribel, and their military delegation crashed. General Bayraktaroğlu visited the mobile coordination center operating in the area and received information from Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin and AFAD officials."
