In the Efeler district of Aydın, excavator operator Halil Koyuncu lost his life due to a landslide that buried him under the soil while he was working on a site.
Halil Koyuncu (38), a digger operator who was trapped under the sliding soil while working in the Efeler district of Aydın, died in the hospital where he was taken.
While working in the field in the Dalama neighborhood of Aydın's Efeler district, 38-year-old digger operator Halil Koyuncu was trapped under the soil when a landslide occurred on the land belonging to H.Y. (34). Koyuncu was buried under the soil.
WORKER TRAPPED UNDER THE SOIL DIED
Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Koyuncu, who was rescued from under the soil and taken to Aydın State Hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions. The gendarmerie took H.Y. to the police station to obtain his statement.
