A Dubai-Moscow flight had to land in a different city; passengers had to wait on the plane for three hours before resting on mattresses laid out in the terminal. Approximately 20 flights were redirected from Moscow to St. Petersburg.

These attacks coincided with the temporary closure of airports in Copenhagen and Oslo due to drones. Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that the drones were sent by Russia for sabotage purposes.
