27-year-old Christos Kermelidis, who played professionally for the Achilleas Farsalos club in Larissa, lost control of his car early Sunday morning while driving out of the city, crashing first into the barriers on the roadside and then into a power pole.
BURNED TO DEATH
As a result of the impact, the car rolled over and began to burn. The young football player Kermelidis was unable to escape from the flames and tragically burned to death. Firefighters who arrived at the scene extinguished the fire.
