The incident occurred yesterday evening in the Yaban neighborhood of Viranşehir. Reyhan Sağ, who was attending a relative's wedding with her family, was present at the wedding venue when individuals, including village guards, opened fire into the air with handguns and rifles. One of the ricocheting bullets hit Reyhan Sağ.

SHE LOST HER LIFE

The young girl, who was shot by a bullet fired from an unknown weapon, collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood. Sağ, who received first aid from the medical teams that arrived after the notification, was taken to Viranşehir State Hospital. Despite all the interventions, the young girl could not be saved. After the autopsy procedures, Sağ's body was handed over to her family.

Şanlıurfa Governor Hasan Şıldak stated in a statement regarding the incident that the images of the wedding owner and two security guards, who fired into the air at the wedding, were identified and five people were detained. Governor Şıldak said, "In addition to the judicial investigation against these individuals, an administrative fine has been imposed for acting contrary to the general order of the governorship. An administrative investigation has also been initiated against the village guards, and they have been suspended from duty."
