There are more than 700 stations! Approval has been given for Petrol Ofisi's acquisition of BP Turkey.

The Competition Authority has approved the acquisition of BP Turkey and its subsidiaries, which operate in Turkey and have more than 700 stations, by the Petrol Ofisi Group. Chris Bake, a board member of Vitol, the main shareholder of the Petrol Ofisi Group, said, "We are extremely happy to take this step. We have full confidence in Turkey's future with its young and dynamic population and growth potential."

Petrol Ofisi CEO Mehmet Abbasoğlu announced that the Competition Authority has approved the acquisition of BP Turkey and its subsidiaries by Petrol Ofisi.

ANNOUNCED IN NOVEMBER

Last November, Petrol Ofisi announced that it would take over BP Turkey's fuel operations. BP, which has been operating in Turkey since 1912, has more than 700 stations.

THE PRICE OF THE TRANSACTION WAS NOT DISCLOSED

Last year, the Petrol Ofisi Group announced that it had signed a share purchase agreement to acquire BP's fuel operations in Turkey. The price of the transaction, which includes BP Petrolleri A.Ş. and BP Turkey Refining Limited companies in the Turkish market, was not disclosed.
