The MHP has submitted a bill to the Parliament for the inclusion of implant treatment within the scope of SGK. If the regulation is accepted, a domestic production requirement will be sought, and it will be limited to 4 implants.
The fact that implant applications, which play an important role in oral and dental health treatments, are not covered by the Social Security Institution has long been one of the most frequently expressed problems by citizens. A new bill prepared on this issue has been submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
İsmail Özdemir, Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party and Kayseri Deputy, submitted the bill he prepared to include implant treatments within the scope of SGK to the Assembly.
WILL BE INCLUDED WITH TWO CONDITIONS
If the proposal is enacted, two basic conditions will be required for implant treatments to be covered by SGK. Accordingly, the implants will need to be domestically produced, and SGK support will be limited to a maximum of 4 implants.
The justification of the bill emphasized that especially the increasing retired population faces serious difficulties in daily life due to oral and dental health problems. It was highlighted that access to implant treatment has become difficult due to economic conditions, which has led to negative consequences in many areas, from nutrition to general health status.

The architect of the proposal, İsmail Özdemir, stated in a statement on his social media account, "Thank God we also have the necessary resources for our retired citizens to benefit from health services in a broader scope." Özdemir noted that the regulation aims to improve the situation for all citizens.
