The Ministry of Trade has banned the sale of "Taros" brand felt-tip pens, which have been identified as posing a drowning risk, as well as the "S-9171" model bear-shaped eraser. A recall decision has been made for both products.
The Ministry of Trade continues its inspections aimed at protecting human health. As part of the controls, products found to be in violation of regulations are being announced to the public along with their brand and model information. Recently, the ministry made an important decision regarding two stationery products aimed at children.
DROWNING RISK DETECTED
According to the ministry's announcement dated December 22, it was determined that "Taros" brand felt-tip pens pose a drowning risk for children under 3 years old. Additionally, the pink eraser with a teddy bear figure, model "S-9171," was also declared unsafe for the same reason.
SALE BANNED, RECALLED
It was reported that the sale of the two products in question has been banned and a decision was made to recall them from the market. Ministry officials warned all consumers, especially parents and educators, emphasizing that products identified as unsafe should be immediately removed from use.
