The investigation into the murder of Narin, whose lifeless body was found on the 19th day of the search on August 21 in Diyarbakır, continues.

8 PEOPLE ARRESTED IN THE INVESTIGATION

As part of the investigation, 8 suspects who were detained and taken to the courthouse after the procedures at the gendarmerie yesterday were arrested by the duty criminal judge. The arrested suspects include Narin Güran's mother Yüksel (44), brother Enes (18), uncle Fuat Güran (41), cousins Muhammet Kaya (23) and Birsen Güran (19), aunt Maşallah Güran (46), Mehmet Şevket Kaya, the husband of her aunt, and Mehmet Selim Atasoy (40), who is known to be the worker of her imprisoned uncle Salim Güran.

FATHER VISITED HIS DAUGHTER'S GRAVE AT MIDNIGHT

After being released, father Arif Güran was reported to have come to his daughter's grave in the late hours and mourned. After staying at the cemetery for a while and being calmed down by the villagers who rushed to his cries, the father disappeared.

MOTHER AND BROTHER ACCUSED OF PARTICIPATING IN INTENTIONAL HOMICIDE

Meanwhile, mother Yüksel and brother Enes Güran were arrested on charges of "participating in intentional homicide," uncle Fuat Güran was arrested on charges of "destroying evidence," and the other 5 suspects were arrested on charges of "covering up the guilty and destroying evidence." Narin's father and 10 other individuals were released by the prosecutor's office.

CONFESSOR ARRESTED, IMAM RELEASED

24 suspects were detained as part of the investigation. Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed during the interrogation, was arrested. Bahtiyar stated that the lifeless body of Narin was brought by the village headman Salim Güran and that he buried the child's body in the riverbed for 200,000 liras. The village imam, who gave a statement at the gendarmerie, was released.
