In the highland house in the Sumbas district of Osmaniye, 17-year-old Özcan Alasırt shot and killed his relative Can Alasırt during an argument after they had been drinking together, and then he committed suicide.

In the Bağdaş plateau located in the Sumbas district of Osmaniye, terrifying moments occurred around 05:30. Özcan Alasırt (17), along with his relative Can Alasırt (17) and Kadir A. (17), went to the plateau house.

SHOT HIS RELATIVE AND COMMITTED SUICIDE

A dispute broke out among the three people drinking here for an unknown reason. As the argument turned into a fight, Özcan Alasırt took the shotgun from the car, shot Can Alasırt, and then shot himself in the chest. Kadir A., who tried to separate the fight, called for help from the gendarmerie and medical teams. It was determined that Özcan and Can Alasırt, who were intervened by the medical teams that arrived at the scene, had died.

Kadir A., who was taken to the police station for his statement, said that Özcan and Can Alasırt had fought while drinking, and during this time, Özcan shot Can and committed suicide.

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED

While the bodies were sent to the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy, the gendarmerie launched a large-scale investigation into the incident.
