Kayserispor has officially applied to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) for the current Süper Lig results not to be registered. The yellow-red club also requested that the administrators under investigation be referred to the PFDK and that necessary penalties be imposed.
Kayserispor, relegated from the Süper Lig, made a notable application to the Turkish Football Federation. The yellow-red club requested that the league not be registered in its current state.
OFFICIAL PETITION SUBMITTED
Kayserispor Club announced in a statement that they submitted an official petition to the TFF to prevent the registration of the Süper Lig results in their current form. The club also used harsh language regarding betting investigations and judicial processes.
“SPORTS JUSTICE HAS BEEN COMPROMISED”
In its statement, Kayserispor argued that sports justice in Turkish football has been harmed. The club claimed that a fair competitive environment in the league has not been established due to the investigations.
PFDK REQUEST FOR 33 EXECUTIVES
The yellow-red team demanded that 33 club executives under investigation be urgently referred to the PFDK. The statement also indicated that, if conditions arise, penalties such as point deductions and relegation should be applied.
“SAME PUNISHMENT FOR THE SAME ACT”
The Kayserispor management stated that it is unacceptable for disciplinary processes not to be initiated against club executives while players receive heavy penalties. The club requested equal treatment for everyone.
IMPLEMENTATION OF TFF STATUTE REQUESTED
Kayserispor also requested the implementation of the TFF Statute regarding clubs considered to be under the same administrative structure. The club management announced that the application was officially submitted to the federation as of today.
EYES ON TFF
Following Kayserispor's application, all eyes turned to the decision of the Turkish Football Federation. The TFF had previously stated in a statement that canceling relegation was not on their agenda.
