The incident occurred in the rural area of Asma village in the afternoon. According to the information obtained, Yunus Emre (17) and Aziz Aktaş (15), two of the four children of Rahime-Mehmet Ali Aktaş, went to the pasture to graze their animals. Suddenly, lightning struck along with a heavy rain. As a result of the lightning strike, the two brothers were seriously injured.
