They can't find employees who will work for a salary of 60,000 TL.

20.01.2025 12:40

In Turkey, despite offers of monthly salaries reaching up to 60,000 TL in some sectors, qualified personnel cannot be found. There is a significant labor shortage, especially in the fields of technology, software, and engineering. This situation negatively impacts the growth and competitiveness of these sectors.

Software developers, data analysts, and cybersecurity experts are positions that remain unfilled despite high salaries. The shortage of personnel in this field poses a serious obstacle for companies undergoing digital transformation.

THERE IS A SHORTAGE OF EXPERTS IN ENGINEERING

There is also a lack of qualified personnel in fields such as mechanical, electrical-electronics, and civil engineering. Especially in large projects, finding experienced engineers is becoming increasingly difficult.

SECTORS' SEARCH FOR SOLUTIONS

Companies are trying to train their own personnel by offering various training programs and internship opportunities to fill the personnel gap. Additionally, they are also resorting to bringing in experts from abroad.

MISMATCH BETWEEN EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT

Experts emphasize that the education system needs to be revised according to the needs of the sectors. Increasing university-industry collaboration is crucial for training qualified personnel. If this personnel gap cannot be closed, Turkey's technological development and economic growth may be negatively affected. However, this situation also means high-paying job opportunities for young people.
