Two people who endangered public health by cleaning their intestines in a public toilet in the Seyhan district of Adana faced backlash. Administrative fines were imposed on the individuals identified by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, and a criminal complaint was filed against them.

In Sarıyakup Neighborhood, located in the central Seyhan district of Adana, two individuals were caught on camera disregarding hygiene conditions and cleaning their intestines in a public toilet. After the photo of the intestines being washed in the public toilet, which is used for making kokoreç and mumbar, received backlash, the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry took action.

ADMINISTRATIVE FINE IMPOSED

While a fine was imposed on the two individuals who cleaned their intestines in the public toilet, a criminal complaint was filed against these individuals who put public health at risk. The identified individuals were fined 29,234 TL by the authorities.
