A foreign passenger traveling by air from Istanbul to Denizli was found to have 1 kilogram and 329 grams of drugs in 219 packages, along with 90 drug pills, in their stomach. The drug courier, who was monitored by the police minute by minute, was caught red-handed at the meeting point with the dealer who was preparing to distribute the drugs.
A total of 1.3 kilograms of drugs were seized from the stomach of a person who arrived from abroad in Denizli. The drug courier was caught in an operation while meeting with the poison dealer.
OPERATION CONDUCTED WHILE MEETING WITH THE COURIER
The Denizli Provincial Police Department's Narcotic Crimes Unit continues its efforts to prevent international drug trafficking. A foreign national who arrived at Denizli Çardak Airport by plane from Istanbul was placed under surveillance on suspicion of carrying drugs. As a result of the surveillance, an operation was conducted while the suspect was meeting with the person to whom he was to deliver the drugs he brought from abroad.
DRUGS FOUND IN HIS STOMACH
As a result of the operation, two foreign nationals were detained. During the internal body examination of the suspect, who was the drug courier, a total of 1 kilogram 144 grams of skunk substance in 177 packages, 178 grams of methamphetamine in 38 packages, 90 drug pills in 3 packages, and 7 grams of opium resin in 1 package were seized, totaling 219 packages of drugs and stimulants.
The drug courier, who was found to be carrying 219 packages of drugs in his stomach, was placed under observation in the hospital, where it was stated that during the 5 days he remained under observation, the 219 packages of drugs were naturally expelled from his stomach. After the procedures in the hospital, the foreign national courier and the poison dealer, who was also foreign, were referred to the judicial authorities for the crime of drug or stimulant trafficking and were arrested and sent to prison.
