A person walking on the street in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul was pickpocketed by four suspects approaching from behind. After the incident, the fleeing suspects were apprehended by the police. It was determined that the suspects wrapped the stolen mobile phone in aluminum foil to prevent signal detection, and footage of the incident has also emerged.

THEY SPREAD OUT ON THE STREETS TO LOSE THEIR TRAIL
The incident occurred in the Kuloğlu neighborhood of the district. On the night of April 6, four suspects approached İrfan Y. from behind while he was walking on the street. After a while, one of the suspects snatched the mobile phone from the man's hand. After the incident, the suspects ran away and spread out on the streets to lose their trail. İrfan Y., who chased after them but could not catch the suspects, went to the police station to file a complaint.
FIRST THEY FLED TO GAZİOSMANPAŞA AND THEN TO TUZLA
Following the complaint, the Beyoğlu Public Order Bureau teams launched an investigation and began examining security camera footage. The investigation revealed that the four suspects took the metro to Gaziosmanpaşa and Tuzla. In ongoing efforts, the identities of the four suspects were determined, and they were caught at their addresses. The detained suspects were later taken to the police station.
THEY WRAPPED THE PHONE IN ALUMINUM FOIL
During the search at the addresses, police teams found the stolen mobile phone wrapped in aluminum foil. The police learned from the suspects they interrogated that after committing the crime, they wrapped the mobile phone in aluminum foil to prevent their location from being detected after the signal was identified.
THEY WERE RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL
After completing their procedures at the police station, Muhammed Emir A. (18), A.T. (17), B.T. (17), and K.G. (17) were referred to the courthouse. The four suspects brought before the court were released under judicial control. It was learned that the mobile phone seized by the police was returned to its owner, İrfan Y.
