According to the compilation from the 2025 Central Government Budget Law Proposal, branding activities aimed at supporting exports and diversifying the country and markets of export products are ongoing in Turkey.
In this context, various support programs are being implemented, including R&D and technology development, e-commerce, entry into foreign markets, participation in international fairs both domestically and abroad, organization, and similar activities. Additionally, priority is given to the continuation of state supports provided to service export sectors and the development of value-added service exports. 28 THOUSAND COMPANIES WILL BE SUPPORTEDWithin the scope of the Turquality Program, which aims to help Turkish brands strengthen internationally, it is aimed to increase the number of supported firms by raising the number of trade and purchasing delegations. According to the Program for the Regulation, Development, and Facilitation of Trade to be carried out in this framework, it is projected that the number of firms to be supported for service exports will reach 25 thousand by the end of the year and 28 thousand next year. THE NUMBER OF TURKISH BRANDS WILL INCREASEThe number of brands supported under the Turquality and branding programs for service exports, which was 84 last year, is expected to rise to 95 by the end of this year. The goal is to increase this number to 100 by 2025. For goods exports, it is aimed to support 320 brands by the end of the year and 330 by 2025 under the same programs. NEXT YEAR, 250 COMPANIES WILL BE SUPPORTED FOR GREEN DEAL COMPLIANCEIncreasing the share of medium and high-tech product exports in the manufacturing industry exports is also among the program's goals. Accordingly, it is aimed to increase the share of these products in exports to 40.5% by the end of the year and to 42% next year. The program also highlights the "Green Deal Compliance Project Support," which aims to enhance the compliance capacities of companies in Turkey, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, in areas such as environmental sustainability, low-carbon production, and energy efficiency. The number of companies included in this support is planned to increase to 50 by the end of the year and to 250 by 2025. TURKISH CONTRACTORS WILL UNDERTAKE MORE PROJECTS ABROADThe share of the overseas contracting and technical consultancy services sector in the global market is targeted to be 4.5% by the end of this year and next year. Additionally, the volume of overseas contracting services is expected to reach 26 billion dollars by the end of the year, with a projected volume of 30 billion dollars next year. The annual project amount for the overseas technical consultancy services sector is also targeted to be 210 million dollars by the end of the year, with the aim of reaching 225 million dollars by 2025. EFFECTIVE FOREIGN TRADE POLICY WILL CONTINUEThe program also plans to maintain effective foreign trade policies. Accordingly, it is projected to increase the number of protective measures in imports, measures against the circumvention of measures, and investigations into dumping and subsidies. With the developing technology, it is aimed to increase the share of electronic exports, which constitutes an important part of international trade, in total exports to 3.3% by the end of the year and to 5% next year. NEXT YEAR, 190 COOPERATIVES WILL BE SUPPORTEDEncouraging economic activities related to domestic trade, making necessary regulations, and continuing efforts to develop tradesmen and artisans as well as cooperatives are also among the other goals. In this context, the e-commerce transaction volume is projected to reach 3.4 trillion lira by the end of the year and 5.7 trillion lira by 2025, while the share of e-commerce in total trade is aimed to be 21.5% by the end of 2024 and 23% next year. The number of women cooperatives is planned to reach 1,150 by the end of the year and 1,200 by 2025. It is aimed for 155 cooperatives to benefit from the supports provided under the Cooperatives Support Program (KOOP-DES) by the end of the year and 190 cooperatives by 2025. According to the proposal, a budget of 43 billion 2 million 229 thousand 838 lira has been allocated from next year's budget to achieve these targets.
