Tolga Akış, the producer of the group Manifest, stated that the group is not yet a profitable project, revealing that the cost of a single music video set reaches tens of millions of lira. Akış said that significant investment has been made in the project and that a team of 143 people, from security to psychologists, works for Manifest.
The Manifest group, consisting of Sueda Uluca, Hilal Yelekçi, Lidya Pınar, Zeynep Sude Oktay, Mina Solak, and Esin Bahat, is among the most talked-about music projects of recent times. The group, which has gained even more attention with their duet with Ajda Pekkan, stands out with its growing fan base and ambitious projects, while their producer Tolga Akış has made striking statements about the behind-the-scenes costs of the group.
Akış made notable statements about the group's financial process in a YouTube program he attended. Stating that Manifest has not yet reached a profitable point, Akış said the project is still in an intensive investment and labor phase.
"A SINGLE VIDEO SET EVEN REACHES DOUBLE-DIGIT MILLIONS"
Emphasizing that the production expenses for Manifest are very high, Akış stated the following:
"Manifest is not a profitable project right now. The costs of a video shoot set up at our current capacity reach double-digit millions. The first music videos we shot for our girl group projects were the most expensive productions we have ever undertaken in our lives. Then, with each new video, for example the second and third, we always exceeded the previous one in terms of cost. We are moving forward by breaking our own production records both in concerts and music videos."
"143 PEOPLE WORK EXCLUSIVELY FOR MANIFEST"
Akış stated that there is a large team behind the Manifest project, saying that a total of 143 people, from the security team to psychologists, work exclusively for Manifest.
Also emphasizing that the most important factor for success in girl groups is company management and the investment made, Akış expressed their belief that the project will achieve high profitability in the future.
