Tom Cruise was spotted hanging on the edge of an airplane while filming Mission Impossible in Oxfordshire for his latest crazy stunt. The 62-year-old actor clung to the underside of a yellow Stearman biplane. Esai Morales, who plays the villain Gabriel in the series, accompanied him on set. After the plane flipped over, Tom was seen hanging on to the edge of the aircraft. Tom, who has had a pilot's license since 1994, was flown by a fully green-clad crew member. He wore a brown leather jacket, a white t-shirt, and protective goggles. Previous scenes were filmed at Longcross Studios and various locations in London. Other scenes were shot in Derbyshire, Surrey, and central London. The production of the film has been halted and restarted several times for various reasons. The current planned release date is May 23, 2025. In addition to Tom, the film will also feature Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, and Vanessa Kirby. The previous film, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, did not perform as expected at the box office despite Tom's efforts. Oppenheimer's film grossed nearly $400 million more than Mission: Impossible. The Mission: Impossible film series, which began in 1996, is based on the 1966 television series of the same name.
