U.S. President Trump threatened Hamas once again. Trump stated that if the Israeli hostages are not released by 12:00, "I will take a tough stance on Gaza tomorrow; I don't know what Israel will do." Recently, Trump had said, "If all the hostages are not released by Saturday, there will be hell to pay."

US President Donald Trump made statements to reporters at the White House regarding Gaza. Trump said about whether Hamas would release the Israeli hostages in its possession, "I don't know what will happen tomorrow at 12:00. If it were up to me, I would take a very tough stance. I can't tell you what Israel will do."

"HAMAS HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED"

Trump emphasized that how the process will continue depends on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli government, stating, "Hamas has completely changed. They want to release the hostages again."

TRUMP BLAMED HAMAS

Blaming Hamas for the ongoing process, Trump said, "You should see that this started with Hamas saying they would not release the hostages." Reminding that he gave Hamas a deadline until Saturday at 12:00, Trump said, "Then we heard nothing. Two days ago, they suddenly said no, we decided to release the hostages. I think they should release all the hostages."

TRUMP HAD GIVEN A DEADLINE TO HAMAS

In a previous statement, Trump had said that if all hostages held by Hamas were not released by Saturday at 12:00, "the ceasefire could be canceled" and "there would be hell to pay." Trump, who wants all hostages to be released, stated, "They all, not piece by piece, two, one, three, four, or two, if they are not returned by Saturday at 12:00, then I can say that there will be hell to pay."

HAMAS HAD SUSPENDED THE HOSTAGE EXCHANGE

The spokesperson for Hamas's military wing, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, announced that the hostage exchange expected to take place on February 15 had been suspended due to Israel's failure to fulfill its commitments in the ceasefire agreement.

In Hamas's statement, it was noted that the decision to suspend was announced 5 days before the hostage exchange, thus giving the mediating countries the opportunity to exert pressure on Israel to adhere to the ceasefire provisions.

US President Donald Trump stated that if all hostages in Gaza were not released by noon on Saturday, the ceasefire should be canceled, saying, "Then let hell break loose."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened that if the Israeli hostages were not released, "the ceasefire would end and they would begin violent attacks," and ordered the army to send reinforcements into and around Gaza.

Hamas announced yesterday that it would continue to implement the hostage exchange under the agreement, based on the commitment of the mediating countries to remove the obstacles related to Israel's ceasefire agreement.

In the first 5 rounds of the hostage exchange, 766 Palestinian hostages from Israeli prisons and 16 Israelis and 5 Thais from Gaza were released.
