U.S. President Donald Trump answered questions from reporters on the plane. In a statement regarding Iran, Trump mentioned that a large fleet consisting of numerous ships is heading towards Iran.
"WE HAVE A LARGE FORCE HEADING TOWARDS IRAN"
The U.S. President stated, "We have a large force heading towards Iran. I don't want anything to happen. However, we are closely monitoring them."
Donald Trump also expressed, "We have a large armada. The large armada is heading towards Iran. Perhaps we won't need to use it. We will see."
"WILL BE IN EFFECT SOON"
The U.S. President reiterated his decision to impose a 25% customs duty on countries doing business with Iran, saying, "It will be in effect soon."
In response to a question about how many people have died during the protests that started due to economic problems in Iran, Trump stated that no one knows the exact number.
"ENDING THE WAR IS COMPLEX"
Referring to his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Trump said, "Zelensky said he wants to make a deal. We are discussing the issues that have been negotiated for 6-7 months."
The U.S. President noted that ending the Ukraine War is a complex issue, stating, "It's complex because there are borders, rivers, everything."
