Turkey Condemns Terror Attacks In Mali, Niger

Foreign Ministry extends condolence to families of victims.

Turkey on Sunday condemned deadly terrorist attacks in Mali and Niger.

In a statement on Saturday's attack in Mali, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said: "We are saddened by the news that more than 30 persons lost their lives and eighteen were injured in a terrorist attack on a bus in the Bandiagara region."

It "strongly" condemned the "heinous terrorist attack" and extended "sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, friendly and brotherly people, and Government of Mali" and wished speedy recovery to the injured.

The ministry issued a similar statement on Sunday's attack on a G5 Sahel Joint Force base in Niger, in which 29 Nigerien soldiers lost their lives. -
