Turkey Neutralizes 10 Terrorists At Home, Abroad

Terrorists neutralized in air backed operation in eastern Turkey, northern Iraq.

Turkish jets "neutralized" ten terrorists in domestic and cross-border operations Thursday, authorities said.
The Interior Ministry said on Twitter that the provincial gendarmerie command in the eastern Agri province neutralized 8 terrorists.
Terrorists were seized with their weapons in the air-backed operation carried out to ensure internal security.
Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured.
Later, the Defense Ministry announced that two terrorists were neutralized in an air-supported operation in the Zap region of northern Iraq.
The ministries announced the operations would continue in the region.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants.
