Due to the impact of the global economic crisis, a significant number of companies in Turkey have recently declared bankruptcy, with the latest addition being Aroymak Çelik. This long-established company, which has been in operation for 74 years, announced a concordat following the economic downturn.

Aroymak Steel and Industrial Equipment Trade and Industry Inc., which has been operating in the steel sector in Istanbul since 1951, has filed for concordat due to financial difficulties. The Istanbul Anadolu 2nd Commercial Court granted a 3-month temporary injunction regarding the company.

COMMISSIONER COMMITTEE APPOINTED, HEARING DATE SET

The court appointed a three-person temporary commissioner committee within the scope of the concordat file. Additionally, the hearing date was announced as December 11, 2025. According to the decision, creditors will be able to object to the concordat request within 7 days from the date of the announcement.

OVER 70 YEARS OF JOURNEY IN THE SECTOR

The company, founded by the Aroymak family, has continued its operations under its current title since 1980. Managed by the fourth generation of family members, the firm has been among the prominent names in the sector for many years, particularly in the import and trade of alloy tool and mold steels.
