Turkey's Borsa Istanbul Up Over By 1% At Close

Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the day at 108,004.30 points on Monday, up 1.03% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 107,350.11 points. As of the daily close, it earned 1,100.62 points from the last week's close of 106,903.68 points.

The index, of which deepest level was around 84,500 points level in this year, hit the highest figure at close with 108,004.30 points during 2019.

The price of one ounce of gold was around $1,458.90 by market close, up from $1,457.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $61.40 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Monday.
