The global economic crisis has led to the bankruptcy of many companies in Turkey, and the latest brand to join this trend is Yesen Burger. Yesen Burger, one of the Turkish brands operating under the Enburger name, declared concordat after experiencing an economic crisis.
According to the decision of the Küçükçekmece Commercial Court, a 3-month temporary concordat period has been granted to Enburger Food Production Marketing Industry Trade Limited Company, registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry. The court appointed 3 concordat commissioners to manage the process.
According to a report by Murat Beyaz from Sözcü newspaper, creditors have been given a 7-day objection period in accordance with Article 288 of the Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law. During this period, creditors can present their objections regarding the concordat request and evidence related to the company's financial situation to the court.
IT HAS 18 BRANCHES AND 250 EMPLOYEES
Founded in the early 2000s, Yesen Burger had stood out among local burger brands for many years with its slogan "IF YOU EAT, YOU'LL UNDERSTAND." The company has 18 branches across the Marmara Region and approximately 250 employees.
INCREASING COSTS HAVE HALTED GROWTH
In recent years, Yesen Burger had been planning to grow with a target of opening 10 new branches each year. However, rising costs, high rent prices, and fluctuations in food prices have shaken the brand's financial balance.
OPERATIONS WILL CONTINUE
It has been stated that the company will continue its operations uninterrupted until the concordat process is completed, and it is expected to present a restructuring plan at the end of the court process.
