Local manufacturing industry units operate at 77% of capacity in February, survey shows.

The capacity utilization rate of Türkiye's manufacturing industry rose 0.6 points month-on-month in February, according to official data released on Friday.

Turkish Central Bank data showed that local manufacturing industry units operated at 77% of their capacity this month.

The seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate in the manufacturing industry increased from 76.2% in January to 76.4% in February.

While the highest capacity utilization in September was in intermediate goods at 76.7%, the lowest was in durable consumer goods at 72.1%.

Capacity utilization rate figures are based on the responses to a business tendency survey of local units operating in the manufacturing industry. -
