Türkiye's BIST 100 Index Down At Friday Close

Benchmark index falls 115.88 points.

Türkiye's benchmark stock index closed Friday at 10,676.65 points, extending losses from the prior day.

Starting the day at 10,784.20 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 1.07%, or 115.88 points from Thursday close.

On a weekly basis, the index gained 0.32% as of Friday close.

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,337.20, while Brent crude oil sold for around $81.57 per barrel as of 6.23 p.m. local time (1523GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.2075, the euro/lira exchange rate was 34.9568, and the British pound traded at 41.0556 liras. -
