A passenger bus traveling from Antalya to Konya overturned in the Seydişehir district after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. In the accident, a total of 20 people were injured, 3 of them seriously.
In the Seydişehir district of Konya, 20 people, 3 of whom are in serious condition, were injured in a passenger bus that overturned. The passenger bus with license plate 42 ALM 699, driven by Mustafa U., was heading from Antalya to Konya when it overturned onto the median after the driver lost control near Madenli Neighborhood.
Upon notification, gendarmerie, health, and fire teams were dispatched to the accident site. In the accident, 20 people on the bus were injured.
3 OF THE INJURED ARE IN SERIOUS CONDITION
Among the injured taken to Seydişehir State Hospital, 3 in serious condition were transferred to Konya. One passenger on the bus during the accident stated in an interview with reporters that they had set off from Alanya district of Antalya, saying, "I saw the bus sliding. It hit the barriers, then swerved to avoid falling into the ravine and started to roll over."
Seydişehir District Governor Mustafa Hamit Kıyıcı and Seydişehir Mayor Hasan Ustaoğlu inspected the scene and then received information from officials at Seydişehir State Hospital, visiting the injured.
