Two children lost their lives in a traffic accident in Marmaris.

In a traffic accident that occurred in the Marmaris district of Muğla, two children who were seriously injured lost their lives despite all the interventions at the hospital. The driver, H.K., escaped with minor injuries, and an investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.

This morning around 10:00 AM, an accident occurred in the Taşhan area of the Muğla-Marmaris highway in the Marmaris district of Muğla. The driver H.K. (35) lost control of the pickup truck while heading towards Marmaris and crashed into the retaining wall on the right side of the road. As a result of the impact, two children in the vehicle, M.K. (10) and C.K. (7), were seriously injured.

TWO CHILDREN COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS

After witnesses of the accident called the 112 emergency line, medical teams arrived at the scene and transported the two small children, who were seriously injured, and their father H.K., who was lightly injured, to the hospital. Despite all interventions at the hospital, the two children lost their lives, while it was learned that the treatment of the driver H.K. is ongoing.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
