In the investigation regarding the incident where biology teacher Fatma Nur Çelik lost her life at the school where she worked in Çekmeköy, Istanbul, Çekmeköy District National Education Director Mustafa Akhan and Fatih Polat, the Principal of Taşdelen Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, have been suspended from their duties.
An administrative investigation was initiated regarding the incident in which biology teacher Fatma Nur Çelik lost her life due to a knife attack by a student at Taşdelen Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
THE DISTRICT NATIONAL EDUCATION DIRECTOR AND THE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL WERE REMOVED FROM DUTY
As part of the investigation, Çekmeköy District National Education Director Akhan and School Principal Polat were suspended from duty.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 2, F.S.B. (17), an 11th-grade student at Taşdelen Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Çekmeköy, stabbed teachers Fatma Nur Çelik and Z.A. (52) and student S.K. (15).
While teacher Çelik lost her life in the hospital she was taken to, F.S.B., who was detained by the police, was arrested by the judge at the courthouse to which he was brought.
