Tensions between Washington and Tehran have reached a peak following the U.S. attack on the Houthis in Yemen. Trump openly threatened Iran, accusing it of supporting the Houthis, while a U.S. official stated, "We will strike Yemen lethally. A possible operation against Iran is also on the table." The Iranian Air Force announced that they had repelled a U.S. spy plane that entered their airspace.

After U.S. President Donald Trump ordered military operations against the Houthis in Yemen, the bells of a new war began to ring in the Middle East. Washington accused Iran of supporting the Houthis, while U.S. President Donald Trump openly threatened Tehran.

"IRAN'S POSSIBLE OPERATION IS ON THE TABLE"

The latest statement from the U.S. was alarming. A U.S. official stated, "We will strike Yemen lethally. A possible operation against Iran is also on the table."

IRAN: WE FOILED A U.S. SPY PLANE

While it remains to be seen how Tehran will respond, a striking statement came from the Iranian Air Force. The Iranian Air Force announced that they had repelled a U.S. spy plane that entered their airspace.

TRUMP: ALL HUNDREDS OF ATTACKS ORIGINATE FROM IRAN

On the other hand, U.S. President Donald Trump targeted Iran through the Houthis in Yemen. Stating that the Yemeni people hate the Houthis, Trump said, "All hundreds of attacks carried out by the Houthis, who are sinister gangsters and thugs based in Yemen, originate from Iran."

"EVERY BULLET FIRED BY THE HOUTHIS WILL BE CONSIDERED FIRED BY IRAN"

Trump emphasized that "any attack or retaliation by the Houthis will be met with great force," highlighting that Iran still controls the Houthis. He stated that Iran provides weapons, money, and intelligence support to the Houthis, adding, "Every bullet fired by the Houthis will be seen as fired by Iran, and Iran will be held responsible, will face the consequences, and those consequences will be terrible."

TRUMP'S YEMEN INSTRUCTION

The Houthis announced on March 7 that they had given Israel a 4-day deadline to allow aid into Gaza, otherwise they would resume naval operations against Israel. U.S. President Donald Trump announced on March 15 via his Truth Social platform account that he had instructed the military to launch a "major attack" against the Houthis in Yemen.

The leader of the Houthis, Abdulmalik al-Houthi, stated that U.S. aircraft and warships would be targets of the Houthis, warning that as long as they continued their attacks, the disruptions in maritime operations would also affect Washington. Iranian-backed Houthis reported that 53 people were killed and 98 injured in airstrikes carried out by the U.S. and the UK in several cities, including the capital Sana'a.
