New chilling details have emerged about Poyraz, who was killed by his father under the influence of drugs in Hatay. It was revealed that the murderous father strangled and dismembered his 3-year-old son on the first day of Eid al-Adha.
In the Çamaltı neighborhood of Hatay's Yayladağı district, a blood-chilling incident occurred on the first day of Eid al-Adha in an apartment. Muhammet Emin Tortuk, after his wife with whom he was divorcing left the house, brutally murdered his 3-year-old child, Poyraz. New details emerging about the murder are chilling.
STRANGLED THEN DISMEMBERED
The incident took place on May 27, the first day of Eid al-Adha, in the Kurtuluş neighborhood of Yayladağı district. After his estranged wife left the house, Muhammet Emin Tortuk started living with his 3-year-old child, Poyraz Yetkin Tortuk. Allegedly a drug addict, the father Tortuk, for an unknown reason, first strangled his child to death and then cut off his limbs.
KILLED HIS CHILD THEN WENT TO HIS FATHER
The murderous father Tortuk, after killing his child, fled from the building and went to the Kösrelik neighborhood where his father's house is located. Suspicious of his son's behavior, the grandfather reported the situation to the Yayladağı District Police Department. Upon the report, police teams went to father Tortuk's house and encountered Poyraz's lifeless body. Upon seeing the 3-year-old Poyraz's lifeless body, the police teams quickly captured father Tortuk at the house where he was hiding.
MOTHER LEARNED WHILE IN ISTANBUL
The mother, Cansu Tortuk, who was in the process of divorcing her husband, learned of her child's murder while in Istanbul and returned. After the autopsy, the 3-year-old Poyraz's body was buried in the Güldüren neighborhood cemetery in Antakya district. Overwhelmed with tears at her child's funeral, mother Tortuk buried her child in tears.
FATHER ARRESTED
The father Tortuk, captured by police teams, was arrested by the court after being referred to the courthouse.
