The Revaluation Rate for 2025 has been announced as 43.93%. This rate is also reflected in the IMEI registration fee. The IMEI registration fee, which was 31,692 lira last year, will rise to 45,614 lira for 2025. Users bringing phones from abroad will pay approximately 14,000 lira more compared to the previous year.
COST OF BRINGING PHONES FROM ABROAD HAS INCREASED
The IMEI registration fee is determined based on the Revaluation Rate calculated from the Producer Price Index of TURKSTAT. Therefore, it means a significant cost increase for citizens planning to bring phones from abroad. The new fee schedule was published in the Official Gazette and came into effect before the new year.
