In the Payas district of Hatay, 60-year-old Cengiz Gül lost his life after falling into the sea during the morning hours.
The incident occurred at the fishing shelter on the coast of Kozludere neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Gül lost his balance and fell into the sea while near the shelter in the early hours of the morning.
DIVER TEAMS RECOVERED THE BODY
Nearby citizens who noticed the man falling into the sea reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, coast guard, health, and diver teams were dispatched to the area.
Teams arriving at the scene in a short time recovered Cengiz Gül's lifeless body from the water and handed it over to health teams.
AUTOPSY WILL BE PERFORMED
During the check by health teams, it was determined that Gül had lost his life. The exact cause of death for Gül, whose lifeless body was taken to the morgue by a funeral vehicle, will become clear after the autopsy.
Police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
