The father of Palestinian businessman Abdulkadir Anas, who was killed in an armed assassination in Kağıthane, stated in his statement, "Politics is not involved, there is no political issue. ASSASSINATION OF PALESTINIAN BUSINESSMAN IN ISTANBULThe incident took place around 23:30 in Dilaver Street, Hamidiye Neighborhood, Kağıthane. Three people in a parked car were attacked by three masked individuals who approached in a jeep. Palestinian businessman Abdulkadir Anas (30) in the car with license plate 34 FDN 313 was killed at the scene of the attack, while Palestinian businessman Fadi M. was seriously injured and security guard Eray K. was injured in the leg. The suspects who carried out the attack fled from the scene. Upon notification, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While the injured were taken to the hospital by ambulances, the police initiated an investigation by taking security measures. Crime scene investigation teams detected numerous empty cartridges at the address. While the examination by the teams regarding the incident continues, it was learned that the health condition of Palestinian businessman Fadi M. remains critical. After the prosecutor's and crime scene investigation, the body of Abdulkadir Anas was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue by ambulance. "THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL"Resident of the neighborhood, Şaban İskender, stated, "It was around 10:30 in the evening, we were chatting here. A white car parked here, and a cream-colored car parked in front of it. Suddenly, gunshots started. We ran in different directions. The clash lasted for about a minute, the men were professional. One of the men who got out of the white car threw away his gun and ran to the çiğköfteci (a type of restaurant). The others followed him and continued shooting there. Then they got in the car and fled. They were very professional, very calm, and then we went and intervened with the injured," he said. "NO POLITICS INVOLVED"The father of Abdulkadir Anas, who was killed in the armed attack, made statements. The father started his words with the sentence, "We came to Turkey for a visit. We all came from Allah and we will return to Him. The police and medical teams worked very well. I thank Turkey for this." We have nothing to do with politics, we are Israeli Arabs of Palestinian origin and I have an Israeli passport. We used to visit Turkey regularly. Alhamdulillah, there is nothing wrong. I came to Turkey to visit my son. He was always in Turkey with his family, there is nothing more." ATTACKERS FLED ABROADOn the other hand, new details about the armed attack have emerged. It was revealed that businessman Abdulkadir Anas came to Zeytinburnu with his family from Palestine 1.5 months ago. It was learned that the suspects who carried out the attack changed 4 vehicles and fled to Kırklareli first and then abroad with an Israeli passport.
