The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry published a list of food products that have been counterfeited and adulterated, which could pose a threat to health, on October 2. This list included the names of businesses where fraud was detected in food products, but a famous meatball chain accused of using pork in its products has prevented the disclosure of its name through a court order. While the repercussions of this highly controversial incident continue, journalist Fatih Altaylı made a noteworthy assessment. Altaylı stated that the business that halted the disclosure of its name is one of Turkey's most famous meatball restaurants and expressed that this company has nearly 200 branches. "YUSUF YUSUF THEY ARE AFRAID"Noting that this meatball chain produces nearly 100 tons of meatballs and döner daily, Altaylı said, "The strange thing here is, if so many companies can't be stopped, how are they able to stop them? This is a very famous meatball restaurant. We can't mention its name here. No one can mention it for fear that they might file a compensation lawsuit tomorrow. They are probably also afraid that their names will be revealed, so they are 'yusuf yusuf' scared," he said.
