Narin, who had a superior intelligence level compared to her peers and was known for not lying and raising her voice against wrongdoings, has left people asking, "Now do you understand why Narin was killed?"

Narin Güran, an 8-year-old girl who went missing after leaving a Quran course in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district in Diyarbakır, was found dead 19 days later in Eğertutmaz Stream. The investigation into the murder of Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found in Eğertutmaz Stream 19 days after she went missing on August 21 in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district, Diyarbakır, is still ongoing under the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. As part of the investigation, 12 people, including Narin's uncle Salim Güran, who had DNA traces belonging to Narin in his car and confessed to carrying her body, Narin's mother Yüksel Güran, her brother Enes Güran, her uncle Fuat and his wife Hediye Güran, have been arrested. In the evening, the houses of Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed to carrying Narin's body, and his mother were examined by gendarmerie teams.

WAS SHE KILLED INSIDE THE VEHICLE?

The DNA traces related to Narin have started to provide information about the location of the murder. The fact that Narin's DNA was found on her uncle Salim's hands, on the steering wheel of the car, and on the front seat of the car strengthens the possibility that the murder was committed inside the vehicle. Another possibility is that the uncle killed Narin by suffocating her near the car. Right after the murder, he wrapped Narin in a blanket and put her inside the car. WHAT HAPPENED?

On August 21, when Narin Güran went to a Quran course in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district, she did not return home, and her family searched for her on their own. When they couldn't find her, Narin's father Arif Güran reported her missing around 8:00 PM on the same day. Numerous search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and searches were conducted in houses and vehicles entering the village.

During the search efforts, Narin's brother E.G. (18) was detained due to bite marks on his arm. However, he was released when it couldn't be determined whether the bite marks belonged to Narin after the examination at the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute.

Then, Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar (village head) of Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was taken into custody. Salim Güran, whose DNA samples taken from his car matched the DNA samples on Narin's clothes, was arrested on charges of "intentional killing" and "deprivation of liberty."

The search teams intensified their efforts in previously searched areas, and on the 19th day, Narin's lifeless body was found in Eğertutmaz Stream. It was determined that Narin was put in a sack and thrown into the stream after being killed, and the sack was covered with stones.
