In a statement regarding the developments affecting global energy markets following the attacks by the US and Israel on Iran, BOTAŞ announced that all measures have been taken to ensure the uninterrupted and secure supply of natural gas in Turkey. Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar also noted that they will continue to work in coordination with all stakeholders to maintain stability in energy markets.
In a statement published on the website of the Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ), evaluations regarding the developments affecting global energy markets following the attacks by the USA and Israel on Iran were included.

The statement emphasized that the process is being monitored in real-time in close cooperation with all relevant institutions and organizations to ensure the security of natural gas supply in Turkey, and it was noted: "BOTAŞ has taken all necessary measures to ensure the uninterrupted and secure supply of natural gas. Thanks to resource diversity, long-term contracts, a strong transmission infrastructure, storage, and LNG regasification capacity, there is no risk in our country's natural gas supply security and supply chain. The process is being monitored in real-time in close cooperation with all relevant institutions and organizations."
MINISTER BAYRAKTAR ALSO HAS A STATEMENT
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar stated that they are closely monitoring the developments in the region and noted that they will continue to work in coordination with all stakeholders to maintain stability in energy markets.
Bayraktar expressed that they discussed the scenarios related to the Strait of Hormuz with the President of the International Energy Agency, Fatih Birol, and the reflections on oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) markets, price stability, and global supply security, stating, "As Turkey, we manage energy supply security in a multidimensional structure thanks to our natural gas supply portfolio based on resource diversity, our strong LNG infrastructure, our increasing underground storage capacity, and our robust transmission system. We are closely monitoring the developments in the region and hope that the tension will be reduced as soon as possible on the grounds of international law and diplomacy. We will continue to work in coordination with all stakeholders to maintain stability in energy markets."
