Due to the impact of the war in the Middle East, Brent oil has risen; diesel will see an increase of 5.60 TL, and gasoline will increase by 2.10 TL. The increase in diesel will be the highest single increase in the history of the Republic.
Israel's escalating crisis with the USA and Iran has severely impacted energy markets. Following Brent crude oil nearing the $80 mark, the increase in diesel and gasoline prices has become clear. Starting from midnight on Tuesday to Wednesday, the price of diesel will rise by 5.60 TL per liter, and gasoline will increase by 2.10 TL per liter.
COMPANIES HAVE SUSPENDED OPERATIONS
Following the military operation by Israel and the USA against Iran, Tehran's retaliation targeting Gulf countries has heightened tensions in the region. Many shipping companies passing through the Strait of Hormuz have suspended their operations. Brent crude oil, which started the week with a 13% increase, experienced volatile fluctuations throughout the day.
THE HIGHEST SINGLE INCREASE IN REPUBLIC HISTORY
After the increases made last week, the price of diesel, which exceeded 60 TL, will reach a historic level with the new increase. Journalist Olcay Aydilek announced that there will be a 5.60 TL increase in diesel. This increase will be recorded as the highest single increase in quantity for a fuel product in the history of the Republic. The increase in the price of gasoline will be 2.10 TL.
