The police officer on duty at the entrance of the Ankara General Directorate of Security's Dikmen Campus intervened to save the life of a taxi driver who was having difficulty breathing. The incident, which occurred at 00:10 at night, was captured by security cameras. RUSHED TO HELP DURING DUTY Protection Police Gökhan Dağkıran noticed a taxi slowing down while he was on duty as the entrance control officer. Seeing that the driver Gürkan Bayraktar was struggling to breathe, the Protection Police immediately intervened. Officer Dağkıran tried to help the taxi driver breathe by patting him on the back and then performed the Heimlich maneuver. Thanks to the timely intervention, the police officer ensured that the driver held on to life.
