3 YEARS OF IMPRISONMENT REQUESTED
Details of the indictment prepared against Mehmet Ali Erbil, who is facing a request for up to 3 years in prison, have emerged. In the indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the Sports Toto Organization is mentioned as the 'victim of the crime,' while Mehmet Ali Erbil is referred to as the 'suspect.'
The indictment states that the suspect Erbil, known to the public and recognized by all segments of society, has encouraged illegal gambling and betting, particularly among young people and children, by stating in a video that he earned money 'equivalent to a retirement pension,' thus instilling a desire for easy money.

On the other hand, Yasmin Erbil, the daughter of Erbil, who is under house arrest, spoke about her father. Stating that she visits her father frequently, Erbil said, "His eczema has worsened due to stress; it has been such a difficult process for him. We keep telling him to apply the eczema cream. Now he can't go outside; he is stressed."
