Before Ramadan Feast, millions of retirees are focused on the holiday bonuses. A critical warning has been issued regarding the holiday bonuses, which are expected to range between 5,000 and 6,000. Those who do not apply for retirement by February 28 will not receive the holiday bonus.

A critical process has begun for millions of retirees before Ramadan Feast. Citizens who have not yet retired but meet the conditions will not benefit from this year's holiday bonus if they do not submit an application to SGK by February 28.

6 THOUSAND LIRA POSSIBILITY ON THE TABLE

SGK expert İsa Karakaş shared information from Ankara's backstage in his column. According to Karakaş, while an increase in the holiday bonus has been confirmed, the increase rate is expected to remain around 25 percent. In this case, it is stated that the bonus could be announced at the level of 5,000 TL. It was also reported that there is a possibility of the amount rising to 5,500 TL or 6,000 TL in the final stage.

HOLIDAY BONUSES WILL BE IN ACCOUNTS FROM MID-MARCH

The 2026 Ramadan Feast will start on Friday, March 20. For approximately 17 million retirees and beneficiaries, it is planned that payments will be gradually deposited into accounts based on the last digit of the allocation number, starting from mid-March before the holiday.

CRITICAL DATE FOR APPLICATION IS FEBRUARY 28

Time is running out for retirees who want to receive the bonus. Citizens who have not yet retired and meet the conditions must deliver their applications to SGK by February 28. Everyone who applies by this date will have their name written on the holiday bonus list.

WHO WILL BE ELIGIBLE?

Those who retire through their own work, including SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Pension Fund members, will receive full payment. Widows and orphans will receive proportional payments according to their monthly rates. Payments will also be made to those receiving permanent incapacity income based on their degrees.

Those receiving 65-year-old pensions, disability pensions, and those retired from banks and chamber funds will not benefit from SGK's holiday bonus. Karakaş stated that the figure of 5,000 TL stands out in the current table and expressed that the final decision is expected to be announced shortly.
