Bad news came from FIFA to Konyaspor, which ended the week with a victory against Galatasaray in the Trendyol Super League. The transfer window of the green-white club has been closed.
NO NEW TRANSFERS UNTIL THE FILE IS RESOLVED
According to a report by Radyospor, FIFA will not allow Konyaspor to add new players to its squad until the issue in the relevant file is resolved. Konyaspor, which appointed İlhan Palut as the head coach after Recep Uçar and Çağdaş Atan this season, has thus joined the clubs facing transfer restrictions.
THIRD CLUB IN THE SUPER LEAGUE
With this decision, Konyaspor became the third team in the Super League with a closed transfer window. Last week, FIFA imposed a similar penalty on Eyüpspor and had previously applied a transfer ban on Antalyaspor. It was reported that Antalyaspor, which has not been able to make transfers since September, has 7 files to resolve.
PENALTY FOR HATAYSPOR AS WELL
FIFA also closed the transfer window for Hatayspor, which competes in the 1st League.
