The fixed-price meat sales campaign launched during Ramadan benefited restaurants and butchers. Some businesses that did not miss the opportunity emptied the shelves as soon as the markets selling cheap meat opened. Citizens found that the affordable meats were sold out before they could reach them.
During the month of Ramadan, the campaign that stabilizes the prices of red meat and butter continues on the shelves, but finding products in many supermarkets is becoming increasingly difficult. The fixed price policy implemented in local chain markets that are members of PERDER, with the support of the Meat and Milk Institution, aims to protect the citizens' budget.
SELLING OUT IN THE MORNING HOURS

But the portion that goes to the citizens is not even 10%. Either butchers or restaurant employees come and collect the meats. Normally, there is a two-kilogram limit per person, but they send their relatives. They all know each other. We know too, but there is nothing we can do."
CONTROL RECOMMENDATION
According to a report in the Turkey newspaper; Experts state that methods such as identity-based sales, daily quota tracking, and central data control could be implemented for the application to achieve its purpose. Especially during the Ramadan period, the increase in demand and the limited supply create pressure on the system.
