Adanaspor's head coach, Yüksel Yeşilova, announced that he has resigned from his position after a crisis occurred when he was unable to pay the bill at the restaurant where the team was having a meal break. Yeşilova stated that the bill was not 3,500 TL but 4,100 TL, and that he paid it himself. He mentioned that he blocked the president and that he earns 5 million TL annually. Despite the difficulties at the club, Yeşilova said he is not seeking compensation.

The Adanaspor team, which had a meal break on the way back from the Fethiyespor away match in the TFF 2nd League, was stranded in the restaurant when they couldn't pay the bill. The crisis was resolved when head coach Yüksel Yeşilova paid the bill. Yüksel Yeşilova, the 53-year-old coach of Adanaspor, made striking statements regarding the issue.

Speaking to Ajansspor, Yüksel Yeşilova announced that he has left Adanaspor as of today. Explaining the crisis that occurred in the restaurant, Yüksel Yeşilova said, "Mesut Hoca was in charge of the team while going to the Fethiye away match. I go to all away matches in my own vehicle. A person named Kadir Yılmaz is calling the parents, saying, 'We are stranded at the facility, please send the payment.' During this time, two of the parents called me and explained the situation. After that, I contacted the facility manager and sent 3600 TL, then I sent another 500 TL. Then I told my assistants to 'turn back.' That's what happened." he said.

"NOT 3500 TL BUT 4100 TL"

Yüksel Yeşilova stated that the bill reported to the press as 3,500 TL was incorrectly conveyed and that he paid 4,100 TL to the restaurant, saying, "I have always remained silent so that the team does not face difficulties. They say 'Yüksel Hoca is after compensation,' but there is no electricity, no water, no masseur, no doctor at the facility. I could have unilaterally terminated my contract, but I waited hoping it would get better." he expressed.

"I BLOCKED THE PRESIDENT"

Stating that he blocked the club president's number, Yeşilova expressed that he earned 5 million TL annually from Adanaspor, saying, "I receive 500,000 TL monthly along with my assistants. If the parties do not fulfill their obligations, the court will decide who is right. I was in contact with President Ergin Göleli until last week, but I blocked him on WhatsApp. They can reach me by calling normally." he stated.
